Own a Rental Property?
If you have an available rental, we may be able to put it in front of renters we're already working with. No pressure and no obligation.
What landlords ask Gus about
Owning a rental property comes with a steady stream of decisions. Some are about the unit, some are about the renter, and some are about whether the property still makes sense in your plans. Here are the things rental owners commonly bring up.
- Inquiries and showings, especially when you do not have time to handle them yourself
- Screening questions and how to think about applicant qualifications
- No-shows and wasted time, and how to reduce them
- Timing, including how long a vacancy typically takes to fill
- Tenant turnover and what to do when a renter gives notice
- Deciding whether to rent again or sell, and what the tradeoffs look like
Sometimes there are more renters than properties
Gus works with both renters and rental owners. That means there are times when there is more qualified renter interest than matching available properties. If you have a vacancy, it may be worth a conversation to see if there is a fit.
Keeping vs selling
Sometimes the question is not about finding the next renter. It is about whether keeping the property still makes sense compared to selling it. That depends on your numbers, your timeline, and what else you might want to do with the equity. Gus can talk through that with you, from the perspective of someone who has owned rentals and also worked on the sales side.
To be clear: this is not a property management service, and there is never a promise that a renter is waiting for your property. What Gus can do is connect rental owners with qualified renters he is already working with when there is a match, and talk through the questions that come with owning a rental.
